Italian thermoplastic polyurethane since 1962. Laripur TPU in polyester, polyether and polycaprolactone chemistries, and Laricol reactivable adhesives, supplied across North America from stock.
COIM Group has developed and produced specialty polymers in Italy since 1962, with plants and offices on five continents. Laripur is their thermoplastic polyurethane line and Laricol is their reactivable adhesive line. Both are made at the Offanengo plant near Cremona.
The Laripur grades on this page run from Shore A 66 to Shore D 77, in polyester, polyether and polycaprolactone chemistries. Each grade page carries the typical properties from COIM's own technical data sheet, the applications COIM lists for it, the drying and temperature profile, and the packaging.
P.A.T. Products is the North American distributor for the Laripur and Laricol lines and has sold them for close to four decades. Stock is held in the United States and ships across the United States, Canada and Mexico. Samples ship from stock and cross-references to commonly specified TPU grades are available on request.
Extrusion versions carry an end code on the order. COIM identifies them with a code such as EG or AE after the grade number, and that code has to be on the purchase order when the material is going into a die. Tell us the process and we will confirm which version you need.
Polyester based thermoplastic reactivable adhesive. A polyester based thermoplastic reactivable adhesive in white pellet form. Reactivates at 55 to 60 degrees C, with a short open time and a high crystallization rate.
