Tramaco has been developing and producing specialty additives for plastics, rubber, and coatings since 1973, when it was founded in Hamburg. The company became part of the ROWA Group in 1979 and has since operated as its specialty additives division alongside ROWA Lack.
Their three core product families are TRACEL foaming agents and additive masterbatches for plastics and rubber foaming, TRAPYLEN adhesion promoters and primers for polyolefinic substrates, and TRAPUR systems for coating, bonding, printing, and laminating polyurethane materials.
PAT supplies the Tramaco range with a strong focus on TRAPYLEN adhesion promoters, widely used by formulators and converters who need reliable adhesion to polyolefin surfaces that resist conventional bonding approaches. Polyolefins are notoriously difficult to coat, print, or laminate without pre-treatment; TRAPYLEN systems solve that problem chemically, without the complexity of plasma or flame treatment.
