Laripur 2203-93A is a polyether PTMG based TPU at Shore 92 A. COIM built it for the production of high performance seals of wide applicability, and names the pneumatic field in particular.
It is one of only two grades in this catalog where COIM publishes compression set, which is the property a seal is actually judged on. The figures are 16 percent at 70 hours and 23 degrees C, and 28 percent at 22 hours and 70 degrees C, both by ASTM D395.
Tensile strength is 8000 psi at 500 percent elongation, with tear strength of 91 N/mm and a low abrasion loss of 30 cubic mm by DIN 53516. The VICAT softening point is 293 degrees F and the flexural modulus is 6400 N per square mm, low for the hardness, which is what lets a seal conform.

PTMG polyether chemistry.
Dry before processing at 175 to 195 degrees F for 3 hours, preferably in a dehumidifying drier fed by air with a dew point below minus 22 degrees F. Skipping the drying step is the most common cause of splay and bubbles in a TPU part.
COIM's suggested moulding profile runs zone 1 at 375 degrees F, zone 2 at 385, zone 3 at 390 and the nozzle at 395. Machine, screw and downstream equipment all move these, so treat them as a starting point.

COIM names the pneumatic field in particular, and describes the grade as being for high performance seals of wide applicability. For heavy duty hydraulic sealing, Laripur E 107-93A is the grade COIM built for that duty, at a similar hardness and with a much higher softening point.
Polyether PTMG. In sealing that matters when the fluid is water or glycol, where a polyester TPU hydrolyses. In mineral oil the polyester grades hold up better, so the fluid decides the chemistry.
Near the top of the Shore A scale, roughly a hard skate wheel. The flexural modulus is 6400 N per square mm, which is low for that hardness, so the material still conforms to a groove rather than sitting in it like a plastic ring.
