Laripur 9025 is a polyester based TPU at Shore 90 A. COIM designed the standard version for injection moulding of sport soles, wheels, screen elements, masks and technical items, and the 9025EG version for the extrusion of hoses, profiles, transmission belts and film.
It is the hardest of the Shore A polyester grades on this page. Tensile strength is 8600 psi, the 300 percent modulus is 3400 psi and tear strength is 106 N/mm, with abrasion loss of 30 cubic mm by DIN 53516.
The VICAT softening point is 219 degrees F, well above the softer polyester grades, which is what makes it the usual choice when a moulded part has to hold shape at temperature.
Order the EG version when the material is going into a die. COIM identifies its extrusion versions with an end code after the grade number, and that code has to be on the purchase order.

Dry before processing at 175 to 195 degrees F for 3 hours, preferably in a dehumidifying drier fed by air with a dew point below minus 22 degrees F. Skipping the drying step is the most common cause of splay and bubbles in a TPU part.
COIM's suggested moulding profile runs zone 1 at 365 degrees F, zone 2 at 375, zone 3 at 385 and the nozzle at 375. The suggested extrusion profile runs zone 1 at 375, zone 2 at 380, zone 3 at 390, zone 4 at 385, adapter 375 and die 365. Machine, screw and downstream equipment all move these, so treat them as a starting point.
Package sizes: 25 kg bags, or 500 kg and 1000 kg octabins.
Storage: Six months from the date of delivery, in the original sealed packaging, in a dry well ventilated place out of direct sun.

Polyester. COIM's data sheet describes it as a polyester based TPU. It carries the abrasion and oil resistance of that chemistry and the hydrolysis limit that goes with it.
Laripur 9060, a PTMG polyether at Shore 88 A that COIM describes as having very good resistance to hydrolysis and microbial attack. Two points softer and lower in tensile strength, 7000 psi against 8600 psi, which is the trade you make for the wet service.
About as hard as a shopping cart wheel or a skateboard wheel. It is near the top of the Shore A scale, where the A and D scales start to overlap, so a reading taken on a different instrument may not agree exactly.
Use 9025EG. COIM publishes a separate extrusion profile for it, running zone 1 at 375 degrees F through to a die at 365. The EG code has to be on the order.
