Carbon black and 35 standard liquid colors for cast urethane and other polyurethane elastomers, each color referenced to a RAL or Pantone code. Pick a shade by name, or send us any other code and we match it free.
Black comes first: carbon black dispersions in a polyether polyol or a plasticizer carrier, for an opaque solid black. After it are the 35 standard colors REPI formulates for elastomeric polyurethanes. We make all of them in Hermon, Maine as REPI's authorized formulator in North America, from REPI base colors. Each one goes into cast polyurethane by mass coloration of the polyol, or metered straight into the mixing head.
Every swatch shows the tone and strength of the color at a 1% let-down. The final shade moves with the elastomer system and the loading, so treat this chart as a way to pick a direction and a name, and order a sample to approve against.
Our polyether polyol black is a stock item. Tell us the system and we will send a free sample with its TDS and SDS.
Request a Black SampleSwatches are screen renderings of the color panels and vary from monitor to monitor. RAL and Pantone codes are the nearest reference for each shade. Pantone is a trademark of Pantone LLC.
Tell us the color name and the system it is going into, and we will send a sample to try in your own part. Samples are free.
Request a SampleAny shade outside this chart gets matched. Send a RAL or Pantone code, a chip, or a physical part, and we build the color in your system. The match and the sample are free, and a match takes about a week. The codes we have already matched are on the shade reference.
Request a Color MatchFor cast urethane the colors come in a low-viscosity plasticizer or a polyether polyol carrier. The carrier is chosen for the system: polyol where the color has to react in, as in spray polyurethane and foam. Epoxy, Benzoflex and vegetable oil carriers are available for other systems. Liquid color for cast urethane covers how to choose.

Close enough to choose a direction, not close enough to approve. Each swatch is a screen rendering of a panel colored at a 1% let-down, and monitors vary. The shade in your part also depends on the elastomer system and the loading, so approve against a sample run in your own system.
1% by weight. Your final loading depends on the opacity the part needs and on the system, and we can suggest a starting point when we send the sample.
