Chemistry and performance profile
Alkyl phenolic resins are produced by condensation of para-substituted phenols with formaldehyde. The alkyl substituent controls solubility, compatibility, and the softening point of the final resin. TEC-250 is formulated to balance tack development with thermal stability, making it suitable for both room-temperature bonding and elevated-temperature service environments.
