TEC-250 – Alkyl Phenolic Tackifier Resin

shutterstock_519137797TEC-250 is a tackifier resin obtained from the reaction between octyl phenol and formaldehyde. It is soluble in oils and is compatible with different kinds of synthetic rubbers. The resin is in regular reddish pieces of approximately 6 mm in length.

TEC-250 is primarily used as a tackifier in the tire and belt industry.

TEC-250 should be stored away from flame and heat sources, in a dry and fresh indoor area on pallets. Utilizing proper storage and handling, this material has a stability of 6 months.
