The products of the LARIPUR® line are thermoplastic polyurethanes. These products combine the technology of thermoplastic products with the features of polyurethanes:

- excellent abrasion resistance
- high flexibility and consistency at a wide variety of temperatures
- good compression resistance
- good water and light resistance
- good resistance to oils, fats and to many types of solvents

SERIES 20
STANDARD ADIPATE ESTER

Products based on saturated polyesters; they exhibit strong toughness and tear resistance, excellent abrasion resistance, fair stability against water action and good resistance to solvents, light and oxidation.

SERIES 25
SPECIAL ADIPATE ESTER

Products based on saturated polyesters; they exhibit similar features to products belonging to Series 20 but they show, in comparison, a better resistance to hydrolysis and better behavior at low temperature.

SERIES 2102
POLYCAPROLACTONE ESTER

Products based on polycaprolactones; these products have similar features to the products of Series 25 but with an enhanced resistance to hydrolysis and very good elastic memory.

SERIES 50
MODIFIED ESTER

The products are obtained by homogeneously incorporating a small amount of raw material of unique chemical composition to the products of Series 25. They combine a high level of hardness with excellent cold impact resistance.

SERIES 60
PTMG ETHER

Product based on PTMG polyether. When compared with the various ester series' of LARIPUR®, Series 60 exhibits a better hydrolysis and microbe attac, higher cold flexibility and a lower thermal and oxidizing resistance.

SERIES 15 and 18
PLASTICIZED ESTER

These products are esters containing a small amount of a low migrating plasticizer. They are soft grade TPU mainly developed for the footwear industry. These two series of LARIPUR® combine the properties of polyurethane with those of rubber.

Despite their low hardness, they exhibit fast processing cycles. Products belonging to Series 18 are fully transparent while those of Series 15 are opaque. Both exhibit a very good adhesion to most two component PU systems without any pre-treatment.

SEAL GRADES

These TPU products were developed for the manufacturing of hydraulic gaskets and other heavy-duty products requiring a high compression resistance even at high temperature and/or in contact with oils and fats. Two products are based on polycaprolactone polyester and one (2202-93A) on PTMG polyether.
